Let

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:15, 16

In our Sunday School class a few years ago I had a series with the children which was entitled: "Know", "Let" and "Do".
These were obviously taken from the books of the Epistles. A sister in Christ, Hannah, are attempting to memorize chapters from the Epistles right now. It's been a challenge and a blessing. The above verses were in the chapter we learned last week. They were in the "kitchen sermon" I heard while washing dishes this morning too.

Everything comes back to God's Word and to Jesus Christ, our Cornerstone!
We are the ones who have to obediently "let"

I'm so glad for that!

I hope today is a blessing for you. Thanks for stopping by Darling Hill!

  1. So true...we need to "let". Thank you for the reminder this morning. I just love what you and Hannah started in the church! The children are excited every week to memorize scripture!
I better get to school :) but wanted to stop and say a quick, "Hi!"
Have a wonderful day serving our Lord!
